In 2023, Tanzania earned USD 173 million from the export of grains. The trend has been declining since an all-time high of USD 402 million in 2021. The major partners are Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda. Over the last seven years, Tanzania has sold grains worth USD 522 million, USD 383 million, and USD 198 million to these countries, respectively.
