What is OSHA?
OSHA stands for Occupational Safety and Health Authority and it is the government authority mandated to protect workers against potential hazards at workplaces that can cause occupational diseases and accidents.

How to Register with OSHA?
Step 1: Create Account
https://wims.osha.go.tz/account/register/new/account
Step 2: Activate Account
You will get an email from WIMS to activate your account. Click the link indicated in the email to activate your account.
Step 3: Login to your WIMS Account
Visit https://wims.osha.go.tz/login in your browser and input your username (email) and password then click the Login button.
Step 4: Click Register Workplace
Once logged in, you will se the options available for registering a workplace, adding employees, registering a project, booking OHS training and paying bills.
- For registering a workplace, click register new workplace.
- Fill in the TIN number of the company. The system will retrieve details for the TIN entered. Once the form is populated with the details based on the TIN you entered, click next.
- Fill in the workplace details and click next.
- Fill in number of employees and click next.
- Fill in the items used and click next.
- Attach business license and any other regulatory license or certificate and then click next.
- Verify details and click submit.
- Wait for submission status.
- You will receive a confirmation email that you application is received and what you should wait for.
- Wait and Pay for the Control Number
- You will see your due amount in the dashboard once the control number has been generated.
- The control number will be similar to the following, amounts may differ. Refer to OSHA fees in the next part.
